Holistic Management Comprehesensive Course at Heifer Ranch!

The solution to climate change, drought resilience, food security, and financial viability lies in our approach to management. We believe the solution to these pressing world issues is holistic management of our land, livestock, and people.

Holistic Management uses decision-making and planning procedures that give people the insights and management tools needed to work with the web of complexity that exists in nature; resulting in better, more informed decisions that balance social, environmental, and financial considerations.

The Holistic Management Comprehensive course is often offered as an 8-day intensive. We have decided to break the entire course into two sessions, each lasting 4 days:

Session 1: Holistic Management Foundations & Land Planning (August 7-10, 2024)

Session 2: Planned Grazing, Financial Planning, & Ecological Monitoring (August 21-24, 2024)

The entire Holistic Management Comprehensive course (Session 1 AND Session 2) is part of the accreditation requirements for becoming an accredited professional (AP) of the Savory Institute, so we encourage folks to attend both sessions, if possible.
