Mt. Folly Regenerative Ground Beef Arrives at Kroger Stores

Mt. Folly Beef Arrives at Kroger: Find Regional, Regenerative Beef Near You
We are thrilled to share some massive news for the Ohio River Valley's local food system: Mt. Folly ground beef has officially hit the shelves at Kroger! Starting this week, you can find our signature, regenerative certified 80/20 and 90/10 "Born, Raised, Graised, and Processed in USA" ground beef in the meat departments of Kroger stores throughout the Louisville division, spanning Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and Southern Illinois. As a KyProud leader in regenerative agriculture, this rollout scales up our long-standing mission to prove that a regional food system can deliver high-quality food sourced and processed within the region.
Backed by the USDA to Build a Better Food System
This expansion into the Louisville Kroger division builds on ongoing support from the USDA’s Advancing Markets for Producers (AMP) initiative. This backing has helped us build regional market infrastructure and assist Ohio River Valley farmers in adopting regenerative, NRCS practices. This partnership reflects the USDA’s broader commitment to strengthening regional food systems and rewarding farmers for stewarding the land responsibly.
The Mt. Folly Difference: Better for the Land, Better for the Table
Unlike industrial beef, which relies heavily on massive, centralized corporate feedlots and long-distance shipping networks, Mt. Folly beef is anchored completely in the Ohio River Valley region. Every animal is individually identified and traceable throughout production. Our cattle are fed grain-on-grass and processed locally in the Bluegrass.
